Hi! I'm Dr. Nikhil Whig, though most patients simply call me "Dr. Nik". I'm a dad to two energetic boys, a music lover, and an adventurer who finds joy in connecting with people. Born to doctor parents, I grew up in a home where caring for others came naturally. Music was always my escape — enough that I became the lead guitarist in my college rock band — and the mountains became my place to reset. Hiking, fresh air, and wide-open views keep me grounded. People often describe me as a calm presence: someone who listens deeply, supports without judgment, and makes them feel understood. That matters to me, because everyone carries a story that deserves respect.
My Approach to Care
I approach dentistry with that same mindset of empathy and curiosity. I understand that people come with different experiences — some have been through difficult seasons that affected their dental health, while others have taken great care of their teeth but still face wear, damage, or functional issues no one ever explained to them.
My goal is to make every person feel safe, informed, and confident in their care.
There is no judgment here — just compassion, clarity, and options that genuinely help.

Professionally, I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where I was honoured to receive the Joseph P. Speranza Memorial Award for Excellence in General Dentistry — a recognition given to clinicians who demonstrate exceptional skill, compassion, and commitment to high-quality care.
With over a decade of experience practicing in both the U.S. and Canada, I approach every treatment plan with intention and a strong dedication to long-term success.
What I Do
Clinically, I offer a full spectrum of general and restorative dentistry, with particular expertise in cosmetic dentistry, complex restorative care, and full-mouth rehabilitation. These areas require precision, planning, artistry, and a deep understanding of how teeth, jaws, muscles, and aesthetics work together.
I’ve completed extensive, advanced training with pioneers in the field, allowing me to deliver sophisticated, long-lasting solutions that enhance function, stability, and confidence.
